Android 8.1 is the first version with minimal improvements after the official release of Android 8.0 Oreo and currently only Pixel owners have the right to download and install and of course they will be able to test the beta version of the new system operating, we only have the final definitive form for the general public. The new update brings some remarkable changes, such as the ability to integrate Chrome and SMS and automatic zoom navigation buttons.
Another new feature detected in Android 8.1 is the ability to restore data from a Google Account. The change was discovered by Henry Roggy, who made a relevant comment by commenting through his Google+ account profile.
If you ignore this option in the original installation, there is no problem, you can then go to the settings menu and find the appropriate box to complete the process. Click “Finish Setup” and continue the steps you may have missed. This includes recovering data from the Gmail account you used to connect to the phone.
