Steps to Create and Restore Nandroid Backup on Android Devices using TWRP Recovery/CWM/Philz
We will guide you on how to take a nandroid backup and restore it with three different recoveries.
1. Create and Restore Nandroid Backup with TWRP
- Reboot your device into recovery by using the key combinations required
- Once you entered TWRP Go to “Backup”
- Choose system, data and boot plus the partitions you want to back up.
- Start making the backup by swiping to the right at the bottom.
- Wait for the process to be done
- Now if you want to restore the backup just choose restore from the TWRP and select the backup you created and swipe to restore it.
- Done!!
2.Create and Restore Nandroid Backup using CWM
- Reboot your device into recovery by using the key combinations required
- Once you entered CWM Go to “Backup and restore”
- Choose “Backup”
- The device will perform the backup process now
- Now wait for it to be completed
- Now if you want to restore a created backup choose to restore from the backup and restore and select the backup you created.
- Done!!
3.Create and Restore Nandroid Backup using Philz
- Reboot your device into recovery by using the key combinations required
- Once you entered Philz Go to “Backup and restore”.
- Tap on the required option to start the backup process.
- Now if you want to restore the created backup, enter the Backup and Restore option and select your backup.
- After the device is restored, go back to the main menu and select Reboot System Now.
