Google is more popular with its latest move today because it changes the Play Store policy and prohibits apps from displaying annoying ads on the lock screen of every Android device. This new change affects all Android apps that Google says can only show ads in their own environment.
“Unless the exclusive purpose of the app is to provide a lock screen, apps can not contain ads or revenue-generating features from the locked screen of a device.” This is the new measure that has come into effect and is included in Google’s new Terms of Service. That an application is designed to replace the lock screen, it is technically possible to run ads. However, other applications, such as music players, third-party galleries and games, will not be allowed to do so.
Now, what remains to be seen is that Google is actually the “bad policeman” and follows its new guidelines, removing apps that do not comply with these recent guidelines.
