LineageOS has managed to gather one million installations, many of them on OnePlus brand mobiles. Cyanogen stopped all activity at the end of 2016 . However, developers came together to take up the torch under the LineageOS name in January 2017. This project quickly became popular and spread to a large number of devices.
By visiting the LineageOS Statistics page, we learn that LineageOS has reached one million active installations, but also that OnePlus owners represent very well. We at the top of the list bacon, have an internal code name for OnePlus One and currently account for 67,571 installation. He succeeds OnePlus 3 with 39 102 installations. The big number of oneplus is not surprising in itself, as it was with this brand that was originally given the Cyanogen OS.
We then find the Xiaomi redmi Note 3 under the name Kenzo, the Samsung Galaxy S3 (i9300), the Xiaomi Mi 5 (Gemini) and the Samsung Galaxy S5 (KLTE). India, and its Jio 4G network, ranks first in the list of active countries – in fact, this is the second place, as the countries of most users are not included in the statistics.
Counting one million installations in just three months is an impressive feat and we can look forward to seeing the team behind CyanogenMod bounce back with Lineage OS.
